Busy Break

Spring Break this year we were ready to get away, without going too far.  My sisters' families and my parents joined us for a couple of days.  We headed to the sanddunes despite warnings that Easter weekend would be crazy there, the Thursday afternoon we were there was actually not very busy at all.  We picnicked and had a lot of fun playing in the sand.

The twins turned 4 years old on Easter Day.  We celebrated earlier in the weekend by going to the Provo Beach resort, roasting hot dogs, and watching an outdoor movie with some of their cousins.

We held a little Easter Egg hunt in our backyard Saturday morning.

The week after Easter we went just 2 hours south to visit the Fremont Indian State Park.  It had nice easy trails and really accessible and cool petroglyphs and pictographs. Add in beautiful weather and it was a perfect day.

The park has a nice little museum with a fun kids area.

We also swung by Cove Fort for a tour since it was only 15 miles away from the State Park.

The last part of the week we had to cancel a trip to Logan and visiting my mom on her 70th birthday since our kids had stomach bugs, however we had a nice quiet weekend watching General Conference.
