2 Weeks into Summer

Seems like this summer we've just wanted to relax at/near home.  We've been to the library, spent time out in the garden, and been to the park. We've been busy going to baseball practices/games.  This is Thomas's first year playing and Jared is the coach. Even with all our "lazy" time, we did go to St. George for a fabulous family reunion after school was out and we made it up to Salt Lake to see our newest (and cutest) baby niece. We also had our other "cutest" niece from Arizona here to visit with her family; she came all the way up to run the Provo marathon. Here are some pictures of the last couple weeks.

Natalie graduated from Kindergarten, hooray!

Thomas playing baseball. He does pretty well hitting the ball as long as he's wearing his glasses.

For our reunion in St. George my parents, sister & 3 kids, and brother's family with his 3 kids, stayed in a beautiful home in Hurricane.  We had a marvelous time.  Below are some pictures.

I highly recommend the Towns Square park in St. George. It has a super fun splash pad/lazy river, my pictures don't do it justice.

Visiting the St. George temple.

I love hiking in Snow Canyon.  These are the Petrified Sanddunes-easy enough for children but still feels like an adventure and beautiful scenery.

Also, just outside of St.George we went to Sand Hollow Reservoir, which had beautiful sandy beaches that drop off gradually so the kids could go pretty far out into the water safely. We had so much fun there.

These pictures are from yesterday with our Arizona family.  We hiked to the Groto (short hike up Payson Canyon perfect for young kids--lots of shade).  Thanks for coming to stay with us, we had such a great time!

These pictures were taken at Wheeler Farm.  It was so fun to spend time with Jared's brother and wife and new baby. The kids loved seeing the animals.
