February in a Nutshell

This picture was taken today just before church.  Notice the beautiful flowers that Jared gave me for Valentine's Day, still blooming 2 weeks later!  The twins and I stayed home from church today and I gave them a nursery lesson since they're not quite over their colds yet.

We've had a great February.  For Valentine’s Day, since Natalie’s preschool had been cancelled, we threw a special Valentine's lunch pot-luck/playdate with the stay-at home moms from around the block. We ended up with about 11 women and 20 kids.  It was a lot of fun to visit and actually wasn't too wild, the kids ran around downstairs and in the kid’s bedrooms while the mom's visited in the living room.

Last weekend for President’s Day we went to Logan to see Grandma Dallas for a few days.  We went out to eat, went to the temple, and visited with Kathy’s family. Monday we left early for Ogden and had lunch at my parents visiting with a few of my siblings and their kids. This week I’ve just been recovering from the big trip, cleaning house, baking bread, folding laundry, as well as my other daily routine of doing homework and chores with the kids and shuttling them around.

Last week, Amelia got more Botox and Phenol injections in her legs and left arm.  Already she seems more relaxed in her legs.  She is doing so well on her crutches, I thought I'd include a video.
