Summer Fun

We decided that this would be a good year to put Thomas and Natalie in swimming lessons.  The kids loved it and had a lot of fun.

Here are a few pictures of some of our other recent activities:

Monte L Bean Lifescience museum: The kids loved, loved, loved going here.

Below are pictures from our backyard beach party.  Natalie kept yelling "this is the best beach party ever!" All we had to do was fill the sandbox full of water and sit back and relax as the kids played for a good couple of hours.

So the other day I was taking the kids out of the tub when I noticed this thing stuck to the twins bedroom window.  It turned out to be a hummingbird.  Usually these birds are zooming 100mph through the sky and we don't get to really look at them, but this one decided to perch on the screen. It was alive and didn't seem to be injured.  We stared at it for a good 10 minutes and was still hanging on when the kids lost interest.  Later in the day it was gone, so I'm assuming it finally decided to fly away.

I'd be ticked too! What a rip! I'd either go somewhere else or yes, teach them yourselves! Sorry to hear about your tooth!

You would probably do a better job teaching your kids how to swim. We had a great time visiting you on Thursday! I need to find out where that museum is, looks like fuN!
